Please be informed that MICG/FPLC will jointly be hosting a seminar on " The Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance 2012 (MCCG 2012) " that will be held at Sime Darby Convention Centre, on the 3rd, July 2012.
The new MCCG 2012 CG code sets out eight broad principles and specifies the best practices of good corporate governance at a higher level than expected by regulations. As MCCG 2012 will be effective on December 31, as it will be embedded in the Bursa Listing Requirements, listed companies are encouraged to make an early transition to the principles and recommendations stated in it and are required to report on their compliance in their annual reports. With these new exciting changes taking place in the corporate governance landscape,we look forward to your organization participation in this seminar thereby raising the standards of corporate governance in Malaysia. This seminar will showcase power-packed presentations from selected speakers who will deliberate on pertinent issues within the ambit of MCCG 2012.
